Day 1

Arrival

Your guide will meet and greet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and after a short briefing he will drive you to your hotel in Arusha.
Please take note that the hotel cost covers breakfast exclusively. The check-in process commences at 2:00 PM.

Day 2

Tarangire National Park

Embark on an exciting journey to Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2-hour drive from Arusha to the park gate. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by an armed ranger who will lead you on a captivating guided walking safari lasting about 1.5 to 2 hours. This immersive experience offers a unique perspective on the park’s nature and wildlife, allowing you to appreciate it in a whole new light.
After the walking safari, your guide will take you to explore other fascinating areas of this renowned national park, known for its significant elephant population. As the day winds down, your guide will exit the park in the late afternoon and head to Lake Burunge Tented Lodge.

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park

Begin your day with an early breakfast before embarking on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park, bringing packed lunches along. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes, and upon arrival, your guide will handle the necessary permits before you delve into the park’s wonders.
Drive through the lush evergreen underground water forest, traverse the expansive open grasslands, and reach the tranquil shores of the lake, venturing towards the seldom-reached end of the park. The game viewing and scenery in Lake Manyara are truly unparalleled, offering a unique and enriching experience. As the day draws to a close, exit the park in the late afternoon and journey to Karatu for a delicious dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at Mawe Mawe Manyara Lodge.

Day 4

Karatu – Ndutu, Ngorongoro

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before embarking on a memorable journey to Ndutu, nestled in the northwestern part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the legendary Great Migration unfolds. Prepare to be mesmerized by the vast herds of wildebeest and other herbivores, as well as the picturesque alkaline lakes that attract flocks of flamingos.
Enjoy game drives en route to Ndutu, immersing yourself in the diverse and breathtaking landscapes. Later in the afternoon, continue your exploration before arriving at Africa Safari South Serengeti for a delightful dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 5

Ndutu, Ngorongoro

Wake up to the serene beauty of Lake Ndutu as the early morning mist gently lifts. After a satisfying breakfast, embark on a thrilling adventure into the Ndutu Area with packed lunches for a full day of immersive game drives.
Led by your experienced guide, you’ll discover prime wildlife viewing spots, enjoying lunch in a pristine location amidst nature’s splendor. Continue your exploration throughout the day, taking in the sights and sounds of the Ndutu plains.
As the afternoon unfolds, return to camp for a delicious dinner and a well-deserved overnight rest.
Optional extra: For an extra special experience, consider the optional Balloon Safari, available from 5:30 am to 9:30 am. Embark on a breathtaking one-hour balloon flight at dawn over the Ndutu Plains, followed by a bush breakfast. Afterward, continue your adventure with game drives.

Day 6

Ndutu – Serengeti National Park

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast before setting out on the next leg of your adventure to Serengeti National Park, with packed lunches in tow. Upon arrival at Naabi Hill gate, enjoy a leisurely lunch while your guide takes care of the permit formalities. Then, continue your journey with en route game drives, immersing yourself in the diverse landscapes and abundant wildlife of the Serengeti.
As you venture deeper into the heart of the Serengeti, arrive at Seronera, a region renowned for its rich wildlife. Spend the day exploring this iconic area, taking in the breathtaking sights of the Serengeti Plains until late afternoon.
Later, depart for Tukaone Tented Camp, where a sumptuous dinner awaits, followed by a peaceful overnight stay. Nestled in a secluded and spectacular location, this luxury camp offers panoramic views of the magnificent Serengeti, allowing you to unwind and fully appreciate the splendor of your surroundings.

Day 7

Serengeti National Park

Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before embarking on an unforgettable journey into the vast plains of the Serengeti for a full-day safari. With packed lunches in hand, set out on remarkable game drives to witness the diverse and unique wildlife that calls this iconic landscape home.
Throughout the day, immerse yourself in the wonders of the Serengeti, encountering a myriad of fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. From majestic lions to graceful giraffes, every moment is sure to be filled with excitement and awe.
As the sun begins to set, return to Tukaone Tented Camp for a well-deserved dinner and a restful overnight stay. Reflect on the day’s adventures and prepare for more incredible experiences that await you in the heart of the Serengeti.

Day 8

Serengeti - Ngorongoro

As dawn breaks, embark on an unforgettable adventure into the Serengeti wilderness to witness the vibrant animal activity of the early morning hours and behold the captivating sunrise painting the endless plains with its golden hues. Your guide will lead you on exhilarating game drives until it’s time for breakfast, selecting a pristine spot amidst nature to enjoy a hearty meal.
After breakfast, set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, indulge in game drives, soaking in the sights and sounds of the wild. Arrive in time for a guided 1-hour Ngorongoro scenery walk in the evening, where your guide will introduce you to an armed ranger for the walk.
After the walk, your guide will transfer you to Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp, where you’ll spend the night in comfort.

Day 9

The Ngorongoro Crater

Kickstart your day with a satisfying breakfast before embarking on a journey towards the descending route leading to the world’s largest unbroken crater, the Ngorongoro Crater. Equipped with packed lunches, prepare for extensive game drives within the crater’s depths, where an abundance of wildlife awaits.
Ngorongoro Crater stands as the largest unbroken crater in the world, boasting a diverse ecosystem that supports over 25,000 animals, including the elusive black rhino. Delve into an unforgettable safari experience as you explore the crater floor, descending 610 meters into its depths. Immerse yourself in the unparalleled beauty and biodiversity of the crater floor, encountering a myriad of fascinating creatures in their natural habitat.
As the afternoon unfolds, bid adieu to the park’s wonders and journey back to Arusha.
